ASX Charting Library
Many investors use price charts to identify stocks and other securities to invest in or to sell, this approach is called technical analysis. Over the years various chartists have come up with a number of different types of charts to try and refine their trading activities, these include candlesticks, Gann charts, point and figure charts just to name a few. All this can be very confusing to someone just starting out.
ASX's charting library explains these and other types of charts and outlines the meanings of the different patterns they form.
