Removal of BIL Securities from Officail Quotation on ASX

28 June 2002 - Further to our announcement released on 12 April 2002,
the Board of Directors of BIL International Limited ("BIL") wishes to
confirm that BIL securities will be removed from quotation of the
official list of Australian Stock Exchange ("ASX") on 1 July 2002.

Thus, BIL securities will cease to trade on the ASX with effect from
1 July 2002 although the Australian register will continue to open
for settlement of trades for 5 days from 1 to 5 July 2002 for trades
transacted on the last trading day, 28 June 2002.

Shares will be moved onto the New Zealand register at the close of
business on 5 July 2002.

Should Australian Shareholders require their shares to be sold in the
week from 1 to 5 July 2002, they can contact their Australian share
brokers who are able to request the transfer of BIL securities onto
the New Zealand register to trade on the New Zealand market.

As announced on 12 April 2002, BIL has made arrangements with its
broker, JBWere Limited ("JBWere") in Australia to allow BIL
shareholders who are currently on the Australian register of the
company to sell their BIL Shares on the New Zealand Stock Exchange
should they so desire. This trading arrangement, which will be
operated through JBWere's Were OnCall division, will operate from 1
July 2002 to 31 December 2002. Further details of these arrangements
can be found in the 12 April 2002 announcement, a copy of which is
attached.
