ALC Cross Connects

Connect with who you want, how you want, in ASX's data centre

A connected community

ALC Cross Connects provide customers who reside within ASX’s data centre, the Australian Liquidity Centre (ALC), with the ability to directly connect with other entities who reside within the ALC.

ALC Cross Connects can be arranged between the:

  • Customer and Network Service Provider (NSP)
  • Customer-to-customer
  • Customer to third-party service providers

NSP unmanaged fibre cross connect 1GB

For a carrier WAN connection. Generally for trading and/or market data connections or other high bandwidth applications. 

 

NSP copper cross connection 10MB and below

For low speed services (voice, ADSL, etc.). Delivered as copper in the customer’s rack.  

 

RTC connection

Any redundant connection for any ASX system. The RTC provides a physically separate redundant path for a Liquidity Cross Connect (LCC). RTCs are available for all ALC LCCs. 

BSP fibre cross connect 1GB

Used to connect between two ALC customer’s cabinets e.g. broker-to-broker, buy-side-to-broker or broker-to-service provider connections.

 

NSP cross connect 100MB

Delivered as SMOF.

 

ComNews connection

ComNews is the only complete and real time ASX-listed company news service, reporting every announcement released by every company listed on ASX (2,000+), directly after it is lodged.

Signal B connection

A progressive intra-day electronic signal which disseminates details of a member organisation’s trades as soon as technically possibly after they are executed on ASX Trade.

Provides subscribers with trade data for:

  • Equities
  • Exchange traded options
  • Fixed interest securities
  • ASX futures contract securities
