Featured A beginners guide to investing

March 2025

Building on the first episode in this series, Aaron Viscayno, Business Development Associate with the Investment Products team at ASX, and Marc Jocum, Senior Product and Investment Strategist, Global X, continue laying the groundwork with a new list of things to consider when beginning to invest on ASX.

Marc goes back to the fundamental question of what is your end goal and your time frame because that will dictate not only where you should be investing in terms of asset allocation, but also set the framework for your investing. He explains the importance of setting up goals, describes the different asset classes and associated risks and then dives into the psychology of investing and how investors can handle their own biases by building a diversified investment portfolio and tuning out market noise.

Stay tuned for episode three
