Service Release 15 (SR15) - will deliver a number of functional and non-functional enhancements including:

  • Removing the opening auction stagger with a single random open time for equities and ETFs, aligning ASX with other global exchanges and reduce the window of volatility.
  • Introduction of a post close trading session that provides participants an opportunity to trade additional liquidity at the closing auction price.
  • Simplifying reporting of block & late trade reportings, removing complexity.
  • Introduction of a FIX gateway service for order entry and drop copy.
  • Protocol replacement for OMNet users  ITCH + for ASX market data providing information not included in standard ITCH. This will assist some customers looking to retire OMNet.
