Reviews and submissions
On 27 February 2024, the ASX Corporate Governance Council released the following consultation materials for a proposed fifth edition of the Corporate Governance Council Principles and Recommendations:
- a communique
- Consultation Draft for a proposed fifth edition of the Principles and Recommendations
- Background paper and consultation questions
- a mark-up of the Consultation Draft, against the fourth edition of the Principles and Recommendations, for reference.
Submissions are now closed and the Council has announced that the current fourth edition of the Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations will remain in effect without change.
Council received 109 written submissions (31 on a confidential basis). Submissions could be made online, as an online questionnaire response or by uploading a document. The non-confidential submissions were received from:
